Custom-made aluminium window frames, doors, and conservatories in Hulst
Windows and doors for living inside and outside the fortress
Hulst is a residential city with two faces. Within the fortifications, historic streets, characterful facades, and monumental buildings define the streetscape. Outside the city walls lie quiet residential neighborhoods, detached houses, and new construction projects with more space for gardens, terraces, and large glass facades. The fortifications, the St. Willibrord Basilica, the town hall, and the many monumental buildings give the city center its recognizable character.
New windows and doors must therefore do more than just provide good insulation. Within the fortified city, it is often important to respect the existing window proportions, reveals, and masonry details. Outside the city center, however, slender aluminum frames and wide glass surfaces can provide more daylight, tranquility, and views.
Are you looking for new windows and doors in Hulst, or do you want to replace outdated frames? VINCK creates fully custom-made aluminium frames, front doors, sliding doors, and conservatories. During renovations, we assess how the existing frames are installed and what connection is required to the masonry, cavity, sills, and interior finish.
The function of each facade also plays a role. On the street side, privacy, sound insulation, and burglar resistance can be important. On the garden side, the focus is more often on light, views, and a wide passage to the terrace. Therefore, profile selection, window arrangement, opening direction, and glazing are determined for each room.
For homes with a monumental or cultural-historical appearance, the design requires extra attention. Slender profiles, refined mullion divisions, and carefully chosen colors can enhance the facade without the window frame feeling old-fashioned. Additional municipal conditions or a permit may apply for work on a protected monument.
In new construction, we coordinate the aluminium frames in a timely manner with the subframe, insulation envelope, floor levels, ventilation provisions, and any screens or roller shutters. This ensures that the frame, facade, and interior connect seamlessly from a technical perspective.
The result is custom aluminium work that not only fits the opening but becomes part of the architecture and daily living comfort.
Reynaers aluminium window frames from in-house production
A reliable frame starts with accurate technical measurements. VINCK manufactures aluminium windows, doors, and sliding doors using profile systems from Reynaers Aluminium. Every element is tailored to the home, the facade details, and the desired performance in terms of insulation, safety, and operation.
During the measurement, we do not only record the width and height. We also check sills, reveals, jambs, floor levels, opening directions, and connections to the existing structure. This allows ventilation grilles, roller shutters, screens, fly screens, and interior finishes to be included from the very beginning.
After the measurements are taken, every frame is digitally prepared and fully custom-produced in our own workshop in Sint-Niklaas. Fixed frames, tilt-and-turn windows, doors, and sliding doors are sawn, processed, and assembled according to the agreed dimensions and window layout.
During the production, we follow, among other things:
profile machining and corner joints;
seals and drainage;
fittings, locking points and operation;
glazing beads and window divisions;
color, textured paint and visible finish.
The Reynaers profiles are finished with a high-quality powder coating in accordance with Qualicoat Class 2. This finish contributes to strong retention of color and gloss during prolonged exposure to sun, rain, and varying weather conditions.
For characterful homes in and around the fortress, slim steel-look window frames can be a suitable choice. Narrow sashes and dark aluminium profiles give the facade a refined appearance, combined with modern insulating glazing and contemporary ease of use.
In a modern home, larger and more subtly designed frames can be used. Aluminium is dimensionally stable and allows for wide glass surfaces and sleek sightlines. The front door can be finished in the same profiling and colour, so that windows, door, and facade form a unified whole.
After production, our own installers handle the installation in Hulst. They precisely align the frames, install the mechanical fixings and necessary seals, and carefully adjust the windows, doors, and sliding parts.
Because advice, measurement, production, and installation remain within a single organization, you have one point of contact for the entire project. Technical choices can be coordinated directly with the people who prepare and manufacture your window frames.

Sliding doors, front doors and conservatories in Hulst
In a city where historic facades, city gardens, and more spacious homes outside the fortifications alternate, every glass opening is different. A sliding door can open a dark kitchen onto a secluded city garden or connect a living room with a spacious terrace and the Zeelandic Flanders landscape.
When choosing an aluminium sliding door in Hulst, we look beyond just width and appearance. Glass weight, load-bearing capacity, unobstructed passage, floor height, accessibility, and rainwater drainage must also be technically coordinated.
A Reynaers lift-and-slide door combines large glass surfaces with comfortable operation. Depending on the home, various rail configurations and opening directions are possible. For a particularly sleek and exclusive design, a Hi-Finity sliding system can be used, in which visible profiles are kept to a minimum.
Large glass surfaces also require a conscious choice of glazing and sun protection. In addition to high-efficiency glass, options include solar control, acoustic, safety laminated, and triple glazing. The suitable glass composition depends on the orientation, the glass surface area, and the desired energy and sound performance.
Exterior screens block solar heat before it reaches the glass. They can be integrated flush above or in front of the frame and offer a combination of heat protection, privacy, and an outward view. With a fly screen or sliding fly door, you can ventilate the home without letting insects in.
The aluminium front door is also fully matched to the facade. Options include a flush door panel, sidelight, transom, vertical glass strip, or long door handle. Multi-point locking, automatic locking, and electronic access control can be discreetly integrated.
Would you like to create more living space? An aluminium conservatory or glass extension can naturally connect the home to the garden and terrace. Glazing, roof structure, ventilation, heating, sun protection, and sliding doors are developed as a single technical concept.
Roller shutters, fly screens, glass balustrades, aluminium cladding, and sectional garage doors can also be coordinated with the frames. This avoids a collection of separate products and creates a calm and consistent overall appearance.
