Custom-made PVC sliding windows for more light and living comfort
Why choose a PVC sliding window?
A PVC sliding window lets in plenty of daylight and creates a spacious connection between your home, terrace, and garden. Thanks to the wide glass panels, the living space appears larger, and you enjoy a better view of the outdoors all year round. Furthermore, the sliding mechanism takes up no space in the room, making a PVC sliding window particularly suitable for kitchens, living areas, and extensions where comfort and available space are important.
Modern PVC sliding windows combine good thermal and acoustic insulation with an attractive price-quality ratio. PVC is low-maintenance, resistant to moisture and weather, and does not need to be painted. Regular cleaning with water and a suitable maintenance product is usually sufficient to keep the profile looking good.
A PVC sliding window can be fully tailored to the style of your home. In addition to classic white, black, anthracite, shades of grey, and various wood textures are also possible. Furthermore, the inside and outside can be different colours. This way, the sliding window matches the facade on the outside and the interior on the inside.
VINCK considers not only the color and dimensions, but also the desired opening, glazing, insulation, accessibility, and operation. This ensures you do not receive a standard sliding construction, but a solution tailored to your home and daily use.

Pierret PVC lift-and-slide windows with large glass panels
For our PVC sliding windows, VINCK works with Pierret, a Belgian manufacturer that produces fully custom-made exterior joinery. The PVC lift-and-slide windows are designed to accommodate large glazing areas while simultaneously offering a strong combination of insulation, stability, airtightness, and user comfort.
With a lift-and-slide window, the movable sash is lifted slightly during operation. This allows a large and heavy glass element to move smoothly along the track. When the sliding window is closed again, the sash drops back onto the seals. This supports air and water tightness as well as acoustic and thermal comfort.
The construction is technically tailored to the dimensions and weight of the glazing. Profiles, reinforcements, roller systems, fittings, and locking points form a single cohesive unit. A double peripheral seal and interlocking central profiles help keep air, water, and wind out. Solid fittings and multi-point locks support the security of the closed sliding window.
Pierret offers a wide selection of colors, textures, glazing, handles, and accessories. As a result, a PVC sliding window suits both a classic renovation and a modern new-build home. Two-tone versions are also available, for example, a dark exterior and a light interior.
PVC sliding windows for renovation and new construction
A PVC sliding window can be used to replace an existing sliding window, during a major renovation, or as part of a new construction project. Proper technical preparation is at least as important as the choice of profile.
During renovation, VINCK inspects the existing opening, supporting structure, sill, floor height, interior finish, and connection to the facade. We assess how the old element can be safely removed and how the new sliding window can be correctly anchored, insulated, and finished. Existing roller shutter boxes, exterior paving, and potential level differences are also examined in advance.
In new construction, we coordinate the PVC sliding window in a timely manner with the floor structure, insulation envelope, airtightness, facade materials, terrace construction, and water drainage. A sill integrated into the floor can create an almost flush transition between inside and outside, but requires meticulous preparation of drainage, support, and exterior installation.
The orientation of the glazing also deserves attention. For a south- or west-facing facade, solar control glazing or integrated external shading can help limit overheating. A screen can be incorporated from the design stage, while a fly screen or fly door ensures ventilation without unwanted insects.
VINCK also assists you in choosing between double and triple glazing, safety glazing, acoustic glass, and other glass compositions. The right choice depends on the size of the sliding window, the location of the home, the orientation, and the desired living comfort.
Have PVC or aluminium sliding windows installed by VINCK
PVC sliding windows are particularly attractive when good insulation, limited maintenance, and a favorable balance between comfort and investment are key priorities. For many renovations, family homes, and standard to spacious glazing openings, PVC therefore offers a strong and durable solution.
Aluminium sliding windows, on the other hand, offer greater dimensional stability and slimmer profile options. They are often more suitable for exceptionally large glass areas, very wide openings, and minimalist architecture. Because VINCK offers both PVC and aluminium sliding windows, we can objectively compare both materials based on dimensions, architecture, technical requirements, and the available budget.
The quality of a sliding window is not determined solely by the profile. Sturdy and level supports, correct anchoring, an insulating connection, controlled water drainage, and precise adjustment are also essential. Our experienced installers therefore pay close attention to the substructure, the connection to the facade and floor, the functioning of the hardware, and the smooth operation of the sliding sash.
VINCK manages the entire process, from personal advice and technical measurements to ordering from Pierret, delivery, professional installation, adjustment, and aftercare. We install PVC sliding windows in Sint-Niklaas, the Waasland, East Flanders, Antwerp, and Zeeland Flanders, among other locations.
